How Should You Clean Fabric Collars, Harnesses and Leashes?
A pet’s collars are mostly worn and they come in contact with his skin easily. So it must be
cleaned on a regular basis. Collars, harnesses and leashes made up of nylon and fabric material
can be washed easily.
 Fill up a small bucket with lukewarm or hot water. Add a little quantity of pet shampoo
or any detergent that is hypoallergenic.
 Put the collar along with the leash into the solution.
 Let it soak for at least half an hour.
 Make use of a soft brush may be an old toothbrush for scrubbing the stains.
 In order to get rid of tough stains, dab some shampoo on the brush.

 You can prepare it with two parts consisting of boiled linseed oil and one part of
distilled white vinegar.
 Rub the leather collar with this homemade solution.
 Buff it to a proper shine.
Remember to air dry all the accessories to make sure no shrinkage occurs from the excessive
heat of a high dryer. Ensure that all the accessories are completely dry before you let your pet
wear them again in order to prevent any skin irritation.
